How to Check a Phone Before and After Delivery
A practical checklist for inspecting a new phone order — packaging, IMEI, display, cameras, charging and first-day setup.
Inspect the packaging first
Check that the box and seals are intact when the parcel arrives. If there is visible transit damage, report it to support right away with photos.
Verify the basics on day one
Match the IMEI on the box with the one in the phone settings, then test the display, touch, cameras, speakers, microphone, charging and network connectivity.
Back up and set up carefully
Restore your data from a backup, sign in to your accounts and keep the invoice and warranty details handy in case you need support later.
